Really? I think 225 looks okay..tires that the car calls for is 225/55/17
So if i go 235/50/17 i wont have a problem correct?
Sucks because Tire Warehouse doesn't carry continentals. but they do carry the ENVigor, Primacy and the Pilot Sport
They have the 30 day return policy full refund if you arn't satisfied and i kind of like this incase it doesn't fix my issues
So if i go 235/50/17 i wont have a problem correct?

I've got these on 20" rims and have been very happy w/ them, have 20k miles thus far and should go at least 30k. They have a $40 rebate on a set of 4 right now too

You are right that the car comes stock with 225/55/17, but I think those tires are too skinny and don't do our cars justice. Use the following link to check total diameter. 235/50/17 works, but it's slightly short. 245/50/17 works best. Just get the tires at Dobbs. The price you pay online for shipping and then installation matches the total Dobbs/NTB/AutoTire price usually anyway. Feel free to check TireRack or Tire Warehouse, but trust me, price won't be that different, especially to justify the headache of having to unwrap the tires, take them to Dobbs, and have Dobbs install them. Plus then you won't get the standard Dobbs warrantee....
Only reason i need to go with larger radius is to get the continentals if i go with those..man the reviews are good...few people talk about the sidewall not being too great as it bubbles easy.
Feel like i am picking out a new car again LOL

My last three sets of tires have all been Michelin HydroEdge. Two sets on my last car ('99 300M) and my current set on this car ("07 G35x). They give a nice ride, are quiet, handle well, wear extremely well and are the balz in the snow. As far as I'm concerned, they look just fine on my car, because they are, well...just a tire. They are readily available, reasonably priced and, of course, round and black.
Alot depends on how you use your car and exactly what you expect out of it. My car is just my car.
Mike
ps..it is also *not* a minivan or a Camry
