How to remove paint from rubber strip?

Need help!

My car was painted or buffed but there is plastic strip between bonnet and grill that is also painted. I would like to remove the paint from the strip when I called dealer for price,it would $200.

I am trying cleanup nicely with any good paint removers(not to spoil the strip) instead of spending that money.

Look in the detailing section, all i can suggest is trying a little rubbing alcohol. But make sure you dont get any on the actual body of the car.

you should be able to scrape it off with your fingernail. if not, you can use paint thinner/reducer to get it off, then treat it with armor all. if all fails, you can replace the strip. it should be less than $50.

i believe there is a goo-gone without alcohol that is safe for plastics and rubber, you might want to check that out. or use a mr. clean magic eraser...just don't get it on the paint or wash immediately if you do.
