Get the warranty, it is well worth it if ur getting the 100k b2b. Ive taken advantage of it several times already. Got my $$ back on having them replace my steering wheel/airbag. I had it replaced because the paint was chipping. also my driver window was slowing down big time. They fixed that for free as well. Just try and find the most minimal things on ur car to get ur $$s worth so u feel good about it. Keep in mind my car is an 07 35s with 50k.

Hey, were you able to get door panel replaced as well due to paint chipping?

If yes, could you email me a scan copy of the service record (steering wheel and/or door panel) so I can show to my dealer who is unwilling to replace for me under factory warranty?

I had the same issue with my dealer, they stated that damage on my wheel was wear and tear. So i called corporate, which u should do as well, and state that everyone on the forums is getting the problem fixed under warranty. Also tell the rep. that the material is completly different from the newer models. They are really good about agreeing with the customer considering they want to keep all owners to buy more infinitis. They will ask u what dealer u took ur car to and call them for u to schedule an appointment to have ur stuff replaced under warranty, and on top of it, they got me a free retal car. of course it was a g37 sedan.

I got my steering wheel replaced no problem on my 07 G35, but they refused to fix the wear spots on my drivers side door top area. It's weird how easy they will fix an expensive part, but fight you on the cheap stuff!

You may have already read this but you will need to get an inspection at an Infiniti dealer to finalize the warranty (Infiniti Elite) purchase.

Yeah i know. I just wonder how it works if you get the warranty at a different dealership than the one you visit

doesnt matter you can use it at any dealership as i was told when i got it, its a warranty offered through Infiniti not through the specific dealership although they get the cut for selling it to you.

Normally they do but you could ask if it could be waived since they are already working on your car. I got my local dealer to match the Scottsdale price and they waived the fee for me.

Yes, but remind them that they've already saved at least as much as it would cost by not providing you a rental car for a week. There's GOT to be some goodwill compensation owed there.
