2008 G35XS brakes

Hello everyone,

I am looking to replace the stock brake pads and rotors on my car. the stock brake pads wear off tooo quick. so far i have been replacing them once every year. I have searched the forum but couldnt find anything helpful. I was looking to upgrade to the G37S akebono rotors and pads but was told that they dont fit with the stock rims. Would this upgrade help or are there better rotor and pads out there. I am looking for something that the pads will not wear off fast but have great stopping power. Im sick of replacing brakes.

Thank you everyone for your input.

Do you ride the brakes or something? Why would the the stock pads wear out after just a year??? It sounds like something is wrong with your calipers if so. is the wear the same left to right? What about front to back?

I replaced my front pads/rotors because of judder, but after 17k miles, there was plenty of pad life left.

I have 40k miles on my car and the pads are still alright. I drive hard on the gas and in the corners, but I'm reasonably easy on the brakes.

Brakes

I have 26K on my 08xS brakes are strong never replaced. I drive to fast but brakes do their job. Though about an upgrade decided not to spend lot's of money. As a daily driver my G always makes me smile only problem I find is the G is best when driven fast. Can't afford another speeding ticket
