I already tried looking into getting an authentic piece ordered from Japan. After freight/duty/tax, you will end up spending around $2k for this lip alone. I couldn't talk myself into it. If it was around $1k - 1,200 or so, I might go crazy and buy it. Just couldn't pull the trigger. Still I think the Access Evolution makes the best lip hands down for our sedan. Gotta love their rear diffuser too.

 

Agreed. The best lip clearly. I think even $1k is tough to justify. All's it takes is some road debris or a curb and that lip is busted. Much more palatable if it only cost $300 but $1k???

 

Carl, I totally know what you mean. It's just an add-on piece. However, when purchasing anything JDM, you gotta pay to play. I think $1k-$1.2k is a reasonable price for a quality JDM lip but I can't justify anything more than that!

 

eek 2G's. agree, that's a lot for a lip i'm probably gonna ruin in a month. it is beautiful tho - i think it would be a great complement to the autokits x carbon diffuser i've got on my G. hopefully someone comes thru with a replica!

 

1K-1.2k???? for a lip???!!!!!! If that was the only lip for our Gs I still wouldn't buy it for that price!!!! I'd build my own lip faster instead of spending 1+K for a stinking lip! OMG

 

It's a high quality CF JDM lip. Not no replica CF lip made by Autokits-X or Strafe. I see guys dropping 300-500 on a fake parts all the time. I definitely think $1,000-1,200 is a reasonable price you pay for a high quality authentic JDM lip made by Access Evolution. Have you looked at the difference in quality of the CF weaves of an authentic JDM piece vs. a replica? If you did, I am sure you will see why some people pay the premium for legit parts.

ok, makes sence! But what's the difference really? The replica fitment and quality for example from Autokits for a CF part would probably be the same cause those guys do a good job as fitment goes. Or so you're saying the authentic CF part is actually more rigid and more durable then the replica's some company make??? Probably For Access Evolution just to make that CF lip cost around $200, and they jack their prices sky high.

Still 1K for a CF lip?!!! wow! If they would have sold them for maybe around $400-500, they would've definitely make much more profit over all just buy selling them in bigger quantities.

and Implicit what you mean you get what you pay for??? Yeah in some situations sure you do. It's not like it's a turbo kit or even a bumper. It's a stinking add on accessory, a lip lol! You can buy a "fake" or so called knock off part that can be great in quality and fitment, but still much lower in price. c-mon we are talking about a lip here guys!
