Need replies ASAP! Smart key/remote starter

I am trying to buy an '07 or '08 G35X with a remote starter. One dealer said they would put it in for me. Another one said we don't do remote starters with a smart key ignition because they cause too many electrical problems. Can anyone confirm whether or not it's true that a remote starter is not a good idea on an '07 or '08 G35X? Need replies ASAP because I'm trying to make a deal on a car today.
Thanks!

If the one dealer is gonna do it for you then make sure they offer you some kinda warranty just in case something happens in the future!!

Thanks, The dealer said they don't personally warranty the remote starter. If something went wrong I'd have to take it up with the remote starter company who installs them. He said he's never seen an issue but just the same it would not be covered by the dealer if it happened. I would have to go after the install company. In my opinion, there's probably not a chance they'd pay up. My question is how many people here have heard of problems with smart keys having issues with remote starters? What's the chance?

My coworker with an 08 G35x had the dealer install his (with smartkey, done by a 3rd party installer at the infiniti dealership). So far, he's had no issues whatsoever. I personally haven't gotten this done because our local dealer has such a huge pricetag on the remote starter.

I have a viper unit installed with smartstart on a 2007 g35x. as long as a good installer does the job you wont have any issues otherwise you could get really weird BCM problems

I've been on the fence for the Viper 5902 system as well.
My dealer does remote starters that are activated by our OEM fobs, but I've never thought about getting one. For one, they wanted $700 for the install. Also, my car is warm in the morning, thanks to my garage and WAY too far away when I'm at work for the starter to get a signal.
Viper's new systems can be started from an iPhone app so I'm back on the fence again.
Worst part is finding a local instaler that I trust.
