This ricyness is going down today!!!! I was searching around and some people use it as primer. Example; they apply like 3 coats of plasti dip and then another color, such as bronze, silver, or whatever. At the end if they don't like it, everything is removable. I'll post the link right now!!

I will be doing this on my stock 18s as well this year. I have stored them since I bought the car so will have the entire treadlife to enjoy the coating. I do imagine that when it comes time to replace the tires, that the unmounting/mounting process is going to destroy the coating around the edges.

The photoshopped pic looks good to me...I'm digging everything blacked out.

So, at the end I decided not to do it! Mostly because I am lazy. I was busy the whole day. She looks fine like this. I don't want unwanted attention from Hondas thinking I am their plasti dip buddies!! Maybe in my next time off I do. But I definitely would love this done on a Black Sedan!!

It's all about what you want and since it's removable it's not that much of a risk. But I don't think those particular rims look good blacked out.

I would have to shy away from the plasti-dip and just get them paint/powdercoated. What kind of drop do you have btw? Is that an X?

I plastidipped my 17's on my black sedan and i love the way it looks. The best part is it only costs $20 and takes about 2 hours.
