Plasti Dip on Stock 18"s

OK, tomorrow is my last day of Vacation. I am gonna wash my car and wax it. I've been thinking of plasti dipping my stock 18"s. But I am not really sure and I am scared of pulling the trigger. Good thing about the plasti dip is that is removable. If I don't like it i removed it later. ANY suggestions and comments welcome. ANY!!! Here's a photoshop with black stock 18"s. Please Vote.

If it's removable it wouldn't hurt to try it out one time.

If you decide it sucks, all you're out is the cost of the plasti dip and your time. It may look sweet.

Go for it.

How will the paint hold up to the heat and brake dust have u thought of that? Cause I was thinking on doing the same but wasn't sure if it would be strong enough or if it would come off with a car wash. But if It holds up I'd like to know Thx

Paint will hold. just have to put in the extra care to keep it nice. Paint starts to boil at 450F. I don't think your wheels are going to get that hot

It's not paint, it's rubber coating. In liquid form, it boils at 285°F. Once set, it's rated for -30°F to 200°F before it may start cracking or get brittle.

Many people have used this on their wheels. For normal daily driving, you should be fine. Although, YMMV. The wheel design contributes to how well it can cool itself down after being heated up by both the tires and brakes.
