I dislike subaru's simply because a lot of the drivers that I know personally are all douches... I'm not saying every STi driver is a douche, but most just buy the car for props, not because they want to use it for what it was made for... The most notable of these douches is a guy who learned manual on his STi....

Why not just get a non STI and tune it?

doesn't matter what we think. Go with your feelings. Life is to short. Enjoy every moment. Only for few years anyways.

My last car was an '05 Legacy GT.
Interior is in between the G and the Rex, was good enuf 4 me.
By comparison the G gets about 2 MPG less on avg and I pay about $140 more per yr for the G for insurance.
My Subie was a good car, I owned it for 3 yrs.
It had over 90k miles on it when I traded it in and the only repair I had was replacing a failed injector($100).

My daily car is a 2004 WRX wagon. I love it but luxurious it is not. It is not what you would call refined and the interior noises are a cacophony of squeeks, vibrations, and bangs. I do love the new wagons, especially the STi. Subie wrx wagons are so practical, so all-around capable vehicles, and very fun to drive. I am glad I can have two cars but to chose between two vastly different cars all amounts to preference. Just take your time because sometimes what you think you want is really just flavor of the month.

Yeah for some reason we have alot of clueless drivers who buy Subarus here in Colorado. I dont know why but they are always the ones doing 50mph in the fast lane and changing lanes without looking.

OMG I think like MishMosh posted, the Subie really was just the flavor of the month for me. I knew they were totally different cars so I definitely didn't jump into it looking for the G's bells & whistles. Nice power, punchy but rode like I was on rails, gearing was a bit notchy, to much in the back and the interior of the G has truly spoiled me. The subie is truly hurting in the interior area for almost $40k. I still think it is really a cute car and I would have drove the wheels off of it when I was in my 20's. But nowadays, I think the G is truly a good fit for me.

I was a bit annoyed by the fact that they wouldn't let me take it by myself! I wonder if they pulled my driving record or something lol. I'm over my new car bug...the G has a lil more life left in it for me

My friend has a Subi and I have to say that after a 100 mile drive into New Hampshire, that eff'ing car has got to be one of the most uncomfortable cars I've ever had the bad luck to ride in.

And as much as some STI drivers are d-bags... nothing, and I mean nothing compares to Corrolla S drivers.
Oh, and SRT4's... dont even get me going on that.

O.k. so I found a buyer for my G, deal goes down tomorrow evening. If all goes well I will be G-less! LOL. I am purchasing on Saturday for my mother as a retirement gift a new 2011 Honda Accord SE to replace her 2000 Accord SE. Its a total surprise so I'm pretty hype. I'm going to keep her Accord with 180k on the ticker, get some new front/rear pads and use it as my beater.

So I've decided to walk away from the Subie and look for a new 370Z. I've always liked them (probably the exhaust note more than anything lol) and I can gently mod it, this time I'm getting a manual, NO MORE AUTO TRANNY! So what is everyones thought on the Z? Comments, criticisms again are welcome. (And I know, if its what I want then go for it)

Oh and my stock springs are in the marketplace...

Well to me the Z is just a 2 door version of the G? I would go for something different.

Depending on what year your looking at the 350 has kinda the same low rent interior that the Subie had.

I like the 350, but i don't think it that much of a change from the G. Plus I think the G looks better... Just my opinion.

Now if your talking a 370Z then you may have a point. I think its a better car overall.

Good luck.. Sorry to hear that you decided to change away from the G...

My bad Cervvelo, I jus had a root canal and the drugs have me a bit loopy lol. I meant 370Z. Looking to get into a 2011, the interior is still not all that great from the 350Z interior. The G's interior is hard to touch when looking for something under $40k so I know I won't be looking to match interior. But the Z is really on my radar. I haven't even test driven one yet, will do that Saturday.

Thanks Cervelo!!! I'll miss you guys but will check in on everybody! The G is by far the nicest car I've owned and but I'm ready for something different.
