Debating whether to sell the G...
My bad Cervvelo, I jus had a root canal and the drugs have me a bit loopy lol. I meant 370Z. Looking to get into a 2011, the interior is still not all that great from the 350Z interior. The G's interior is hard to touch when looking for something under $40k so I know I won't be looking to match interior. But the Z is really on my radar. I haven't even test driven one yet, will do that Saturday.
Thanks Cervelo!!! I'll miss you guys but will check in on everybody! The G is by far the nicest car I've owned and but I'm ready for something different.

Don't really feel like I can be rough with the G37 coupe, a new one would be out of my price range, and I don't want the exact same car less 2 doors
thanks for the suggestion though

i think the 370z MT is a good choice for what you are looking for, the new MT comes with auto rev-match which is unbelievable good (i tried it) and quick which makes spirited downshifts easier, if youre like me youd wanna rev match yourself most of the time in which case you can turn the auto-rev match off. Also the 370Z handling is simply great!
I say you go for it!

370 would be nice, I really like that new Cherry color. Are you totally zeroed in on an Asian brand? I tested the new Mustang 5.0 a few months back and I'm very seriously considering it for my next ride. I would have laughed at the suggestion until giving it a test, the ride is tight and the motor is serious as hell, and a blast to drive~just sayin......
LOL NO American made here blnewt, i have absolutely no confidence in the reliability. They are very nice looking though, but not for me. Thanks though. The cherry color is what I'm totally diggin, rare in these parts so that is definitely my first color of choice.
Mrclowny-no stangs here
Kool_yaar, thanks, the auto-rev match is definitely a plus for the Z. I will let you guys know my first driving impressions this weekend.

I just came from an STi. It wasn't brand new, but I know exactly what you're talking about in regards to being 'rough' with it. I took my car everywhere and loved to get it dirty.
Any German choices out there? Anything from the Audi family? Something in the S-series? A year or two old TT?
The A3 can be tuned. The new ones come in AWD, the 2.0T is a pretty good starting engine, when lowered has the right stance. The interior is on-par with the G's...
If you spend $30k on a certified used A3 newer and 2009, AWD, you'll have plenty of left over dollars for putting any tuning touches you want on it.
I was looking at A3's, A4's, G35/G37's, and yes, I did look at STI's as well. I've never had one and love that thump the flat 4 puts out when cobb'd out. I've driven an A3 on Konis, chipped, with the DSG, and it was an impressive ride.
Just another option...

^ she wants something fast, A3 while nice won't qualify for what she's looking for. TT maybe, if she likes German. Then again that doesn't match the 370Z speed either. just sayin
Define fast then? Chipped w/ downpipe and catback, I wouldn't call ubber fast, deceptively quick...yes, definitely...thats what I rode in locally. In fact it was probably about what a G35 is stock? Seat of the pants guess.
Potential is there for crazy fast with a turbo upgrade. But again, you're taking a sport wagon and making something else of it.
If I didn't require room for other people, I'd look at a TT-S. AWD, amazing interior touches, quarter in the 13's after a chip, and limitless potential for speed after that.
Can't go wrong with a 370z though, just preferences at this point.
Any german car though, no matter the make or model will be more expensive to maintain than a G or 370z. In my opinion. That's why I got out of my 330hp GTI.

Yeah I wonder Bailey... what kinda speed u lookin for?? I think she is favoring the cute side of the vehicles more

What about the obvious.??
335i Coupe? Just buy some stock in BMW and a pile of HPFPs and your set....
That engine is a beast... and can do stuff like this...
The car is pretty hot as well..
135i is also an option.
The 3 coupe is nice and the I35 is just laughable and fugly. But my heart is now set on a new Nissan 370Z manual, black or white Cervelo R3-SL! I traded the G with 70k on the ticker, for a 2011 Honda Accord SE black on black for my mom. She was totally shocked and extremely happy. She gave me her 2000 Honda Accord SE, talk about downgrading lol. 183k, mint condition inside and out, no dings, or accidents and driven by a 65 year old woman. Couldn't ask for a better beater!!! Loving the gas mileage, hating the non-existence horsepower. VTEC means nothing in this car lol!!!
Soooo, it was amazing being apart of this wonderful family. Everyone here has just been amazing, I won't be going to far, just across the street to the Z forum so I'll keep in touch! Will post of pic of my new baby once I get it. Question, what rotation is the Z in now, I haven't joined their forum yet. Hope their friendly...Is this the 2nd or 3rd year running with the current bodystyle?

Afraid of American reliability, LOL. Have you ever owned an American car? They really don't have that many issues depending on the car, and one of the most reliable is a Ford V8... think all those Farmers with 300k on their roughly driven F150s would keep buying them in they weren't reliable? Probably no.
Good luck with the Z. Hope it treats you well.

I dislike BMW's simply because a lot of the drivers that I know personally are all douches... I'm not saying every 3-Series driver is a douche, but most just buy the car for props, not because they want to use it for what it was made for... The most notable of these douches is a guy who learned manual on his 3-Series....
