Is Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty worth it?
Sample rates that I revived.. my 2007 G35x has 16k miles. From what I hear the warranty is cheaper if the vehicle is under 20k AND withing the manufacturer warranty period. Best price I have got is about $1900 for 84 mths/100k and $0 deductible.
EX35 w/ 10k miles (price and available terms change once you exceed 20k).

Can you elobrate? The reason I ask is, I may be in a similar situation. Although my car only has 16k now, I drive 120 miles per day. So I've added about 3k miles in 2.5 months since I bought the car.

I don't think you'll get a definitive answer on this. It all falls back onto your personal risk tolerance.
There will always be people who bought the warranty who had no warranty issues during the extended warranty period, and people who didn't buy the warranty who went though a ton of potential warranty claims. It all comes down to how much you are willing to pay for piece of mind.

For someone like me who drives 20-25K a year, the thought of adding 3 years of warranty is out the door, since the mileage would be the first factor to the warranty expiring. That was my thought process anyway.
I agree that this is a personal risk assessment... everyone's thought process on this may be different.

I'll second that it's all about your comfort/risk level.
I just purchased a 48 mo 48k mi for my '07. I did it because I purchased mine used with very low miles--Factory warranty ran out when there was only 13k miles. Highly unlikely anything will go wrong, but I've got the navigation & tech package---A lot of expensive electronics. For a nominal price (lower cost as it had less than 20k mi) I have piece of mind not worrying about it for another 4 yrs (total of 8 yrs on the car).
I hope to never use it. With my luck though, if I didn't buy it, an adaptive head light or intelligent cruise sensor would go out a week later.
Also, it can be transferred if I ever decide to sell it.
Just my $.02

I was concerned about driving too many miles, but expect my work situation to change soon and amount of commuting to drop significantly in a few months - made sense for me to purchase it. Currently I drive ~15K miles a year but it will drop to ~5 K in about 5 months. I expect to keep the car for approx. another 2 years and having the warranty adds to the peace of mind as well as its resale value. Suggest shopping around but I got a good deal from Infiniti of Scottsdale, who beat the quote offered by my Long Island based dealer by over $500.

The salesman made me buy it... I get an additional year but the overall mileages it covers me for my cpo car is till 100k. Quite frankly, I don't even know wtf it covers and when I called Infiniti they sent me some crap brochure that didn't explain anything. The salesman sold it to me as a 100k "bumper to bumper" but I read somewhere it's only 100k on certain components

So, you bought something and have no idea what you bought?
