Injen.. warrenty..?

hi guys im getting a great deal on injen intakes. This guy that did work for me before performance audio says he is a injen distributor and he can get me the injens installed out the door for 375. now i do have warranty till july is it going to effect it.. and when i drive up to see the dealer could i just take them out..?

This will not void the warranty. I have had these on my car for a long time.

Good choice in color. IMO black chrome compliments our engine bay much much better.

If you're going with the SRI, I'd check with this guy before dropping $375 on this from somewhere else.
It's an easy install for even a novice, so it's an easy $100 saved.

As everyone has said, it won't void your warranty....unless it's part or the cause of the problem.

And I wouldn't be surprised if someone at the dealer doesn't try the "it voids the warranty" line. But no, it doesn't.

Yup, the dealers sometimes look for any out they can find.
The official answer is, yes, these could void your warranty but only if your problem can be DIRECTLY related to the intakes themselves.
For example, if your engine siezed and further analysis proved that you had severe corruption of your motor oil, they could say that since your filters were not stock, you're out of warranty.
The problem has to be directly related though.
