CD changer in trunk => DVD player

Any possible way to remove 6 disc CD changer in truck and add a DVD-ROM/player instead? I am using iPhone for music.

I will never use the CD changer and it is taking up the truck space, I might as well try to convert it to play DVD if possible.

you can fit almost any mini dvd player there but you would have to route a new RCA cable to either the back of the OEM radio or to the center console for video.

ops...typo, cant figure out how to revise thread title

so I assume there is no direct plug and play to swap CD changer for a DVD player.

1) missing video input
2) need power plug for dvd player

I guess that is a lot of work, but if anyone has done it, please let me know.

I would be more interested in getting the non DVD player trunk finisher and removing it all together. i bought a cooler the other day and had to return it because it wouldnt fit in the opening of my trunk.

Where does the player reside on these cars? I've never seen it, seems to be a big complaint (trunk space/design).

I have never used the cd changer.....probably never will. The hard drive is easier to use.
