New Owner of Used 2007 G35x

So I just picked up my 2007 g35x w/ 20k on it. Pics to come. Love it but I need to take it in to get a few things completed on it (my first attempt today came back from the dealership unfulfilled and ignored)
-It has awful scratches on the inside door handle and steering wheel (have seen others have had this problem and will fight the dealer harder)
-Weather trim on the driver door is coming off.
-Break Judder at speeds 70 and above
-Paint discoloration under the clear coat that looks like water spots (don't think there is much I can do on this one but gonna give it a try if possible)

Anything else I should know or ask about? Do I stand a chance of getting this work done or do I need to really push on the dealer to get this done?)

Congrats! i got my 2007 as well.

I'll try to tackle your problems.

Door scratches and steering wheel scratches are/should be covered by the warranty. I am getting mine replaced this Wed. along with new shift **** as well!

Weather trim is also covered by warranty

samething goes with break judder. this was in TSB

paint discoloration can be removed by using very high quality polisher + buffer. and putting wax on it.

Thanks so much for the help/suggestions. I ended up taking my G to a trusted dealership about 90 miles away (Infiniti of West Chester) and had them look everything over. Without question or pushing they are gladly doing the work and even pointed out the wrinkles in my leather seat as a probable warranty issue! They even fixed the discoloration on the hood for free! I advise anyone in the Central PA area to avoid Infiniti of Mechanicsburg like the plague. Even after I calmly called them back to inform them how another dealership is doing the work they wouldn't, the Service Mgr stood by his stance that the scratches on the steering wheel and window button area was due to "wear" and should not be covered. This dealership is 2 mths old and is not apparently not trying to win any referrals. Very sad representation for a great company. Excited tho that my car is about to look like new though! Then the pics will come.

Another newbie chiming in with a first post.
I picked up a 2007 G35x with 37k a few weeks ago. Infiniti of Mechanicsburg is my closest dealer (although I didn't buy the car from them). They are about 60 miles north of me. My brother and I just went there when he wanted to drive the FX. Surprisingly, having owned my G for less than a week, I was more familiar with the FX controls and features than the sales lady we rode with.
Nofx50, thanks for sharing your experience. I don't think I will be taking my car to Infiniti of Mechanicsburg. West Chester is 150 miles from me, but if it means being taken care of vs. being ignored, then the trip will be worth every penny. I hope you enjoy your G, I know I do!
