What do you guys think is the best product to use to integrate my iPhone 4 in my 07 G35x (Nav & Sat). I want music, video and charging capabilities.
If possible want to see my iPhone on my touch screen.

Get yourself a composite av video audio cable. Also need to jailbreak your iphone 4 and get tvouttuner by Cydia and then do the forbidden mod and you will be all set

 

Does anyone know if 08 iPod integration can be installed into 07?
I want to have full control of my ipod / phone on the screen.

 

I thought there is a module you can get if you are willing to give up the sat radio which also allows steering wheel control. No remote video controls though.

 

You can have my sat radio when you pry it from my cold dead hands.
My friend has an 08 with the iPod integration and he actually likes my setup a bit more.
His is always giving him compatibility errors but both my iPhone and his work flawlessly in mine.

I remember someone here looking into the conversion and it was found that it could be done fairly easily with no loss of current functionality, but it required a new center console and wiring harnesses from an 08+ and it wasn't super cost effective.

I'm happy with just changing songs from the phone.

 

I will explore CF card a bit more before I do any iPhone mods.

I too like the current set up I have in my 07 sedan. It works well, and honestly w/ the 10gb HDD and compact flash card I rarely plug in my ipod, or iphone.

 

AFAIK, unfortunately most aftermarket iphone/ipod integration products are incompatible with factory Nav.
