Im looking to build a custom Mangnaflow Exhaust system from the stock cats back... I've read on here custom Y pipe and a Magnaflow 11385 then 2 Magnaflow resonators 10415 piped back to 2 Magnaflow mufflers 12225. Now here is my question should I use the resonators or not what is the objective of the resonators 10415 and the x Pipe 11385? Im looking for the most cost efficient way to try and make my 2007 G35x sedan sound more aggressive and more like the coupe. I'm more concerned about sound but some gain would be nice too I definitely do not want to risk any performance. Any advice on this project would be greatly appreciated even different brands or a different set up. Also what tips should I use. Can I use the stock tips over and or should I? I will be having it custom installed at my local shop so please go easy on the material costs... Thanks!

 

most cost effective way to do it would be just taking out the stock resonators

I read it somewhere to going with Mangnaflow muffler and knock off tenabe (sp) would give you stockish and not TOO loud sound. almost sounds like deep stock with little louder raspy beauty of vq.
