its very easy... do at your own risk
1) Unbolt the solitary bolts on both intake boxes near the fenders on both sides (clearly visbile)
2) Unscrew the clamp on the TB end of the intake tube
3) Unplug the MAF wire carefully so you dont damage the connector and remove from the intake tube clip
4) Loosen the tube from the TB by pulling away from the TB
5) Pull the entire intake box upwards with some force yet being a bit cautious
thats its really, someone chime in if im missing anything.

I had to stop for now. When I saw the MAF and all those wires attached to the intake, it made me crap my pants. Trying to find a guide with pics and step by step instructions. Thanks for ur rapid response, but I don't even know what a solitary bolt is lol....
The thing that I noticed in the diy guide videos was that on the first gen, intake can be removed by itself, but on the 2nd gen the whole intake including the filter box needs to be pulled out in order to access the tb? Am I right?
I noticed that there is a small hose with clamps attached that run between each intakes..... what do I do with these?

There is a DIY here somewhere. I just did this. Just undo the hose clamps and you won't have to take out the air boxes. For the passenger side, I just undid the bolt holding down the small hose that transverses the engine and the whole thing just lifted out of the way. For the driver's side, I undid a hose clamp on the hose that attaches to the intake and lifted the whole intake out of the way. I do recommend replacing the throttle body gaskets ($8 each and worth replacing).
