looks good but its a shame that the ionic grill wont fit with the intakes. you are very limited in your options for grills. ebay has some open mesh grills. the fit and quality is probably poor but you just dont have any options for grills, aside from midnight grill.

if you get rid of the intakes, you should give me a shout first!

It's an intake that Bat hasn't tried out.. I think he smells blood in the water.

This intake does look pretty good though. When it comes to your grille he is right your options are slim.

Its a sleek looking piece. Making a shield for it is honestly no biggy, maybe 30 mins. What I am wondering about is the filter design. I feel like the 2 tubes working through one intake would counter each other and not work as well as stillen's would. With that said, it doesnt look hard hard to modify and make it like the stillen. The problem with this is after your done buying the 2 filters and wasted time fixing it, you would end up with the price of the stillens

I think it would look cleaner if you couldn't see it. A black grille that is pure black behind it (no noticable things) is aggressive.

pic below: Different car, but meh. You get the idea. I would do Stock grill. But if you really want to show it off, then your cheapest option would probably be to cut your ionic.

Thanks all! It fits with OEM fine... Still in the air whether to shave the ionic grille to fit about 2 inches or go back to K&N

Does the manufacturer have any plans to add a water shield? I'm sure the addition of a heat shield would make even the OEM a tight fit. Would anyone feel comfortable using this without a shield?

Looks like a sick setup but just a question with hydrolocking..... Being that the filter is now exposed to water.. what'll happen when it rains and water goes directly to the filter? Not to go off topic...

I've had no issues. The intake on my car is mounted behind the driver side bumper hole (behind the plate) You can find of see the filter if you look hard enough.

It's low to the ground, but as long as you don't drive over any puddles and submerge the filter, you'll be fine.

1) I really like my grille 2) I'm worried about water entering the filter 3) they have been a little difficult and poor communication.
