Part # for 2008 Graphite driver side switch bezel

I have decided to replace my switch bezel. After going to the online parts stores it doesn't differentiate between the 2007 and 2008. My car is a 2007 so I don't want to order by vin because I want to get the updated bezel.. If anyone has the part # or can give some advice on how to make sure I order the right one I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Kturn

best bet would be to go online find a 08 G for sale which has a listed VIN and use that to get your updated bezel. keep us posted.

If all else fails contact riverside infiniti, though rick left they should have another rep on this site and they can send you the bezel at a good cost and guarantee if its 08 or 07.

I don't think there should be a problem. Once Nissan noticed the problem they would not have accepted any more parts with the issue, and would likely have returned an stock they had of the bad part. I also would imagine the supplier would have asked for any stock back, as they are probably responsible for repair costs the the parts within a certain time frame. The 08s door grabs are physically identical to the 07s so there may not even be a different part number, it was probably a Rev level change, or parts with the better paint are likely identified by their date code, and either way parts with the older date codes would have been used up before parts with the newer date codes.

Trying to find DIY on replacing scratched door switch bezels on 2008 G35s

I know this is an old thread I'm tagging on to, however I'm hopping someone out there can help me. I am planning on replacing my 2008 G35s sedan driver and passenger door switch bezels, however I can't find any write ups. Does anyone know if there is a DIY posted on this forum or another that shows the steps to accomplish this. I'm hoping that I don't have to take the door apart to replace them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They just pop right out, some people pry them from the edge carefully with a screwdriver starting with the corner closest to the back of the car. I was worried about damaging the plastic on the door panel though (dealer effed up the door panel in the back while changing out the lock actuator), so I used a screwdriver style pry bar (basically looks like a flathead screwdriver with the end bent to 45 degrees) and I stuck it down into the hole for the hand grab and popped it out using the seam between the bottom of the bezel and the door panel on the inside of the hand grab, that way if i did scratch the plastic it would not be visible since it would be down in the grab hole.

Here is a DIY to taking the whole door panel off so you can see some pictures: https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...l-removal.html

Hey there. Not sure if you have found your answer or done this yet, but i replaced mine last night and it was super simple. And thankfully you dont need to pull the whole door panel off. Driver side sedan front switch bezel in graphite (black) color part # 80961-JK60A. Passenger side sedan front switch bezel in graphite (black) color part # 80960-JK60A. I did take some pics when I did mine and if I can figure out how to post them, I will. Basically all I did with each door open, was brace the bottom of the door with my leg while reaching in to the door pull area and with both hands pulled up and towards myself at the same time. The switch bezels are in pretty tight, but they will pop out. Make sure not to use any type of tool to pry them out as you will definately damage your door panel. Once you get the bezel pulled up enough you should be able to get you fingers underneath and pull them up and out. Once they are out, simply use a small flat head screwdriver to release the tabs on the switches. The tabs on the window switch are pretty tight so don't pry/twist to hard. Then just click the switches in to the new bezel and pop/push them back in place. Took about 15-20 minutes total and that included time taking pics along the way. I will update later on with the part numbers and pics of I can get them to upload.
