I had an interesting issue crop up today. As I was pulling away from house I went to lock the door with switch and power door locks wouldn't work. I reached over to passenger switch and it didn't work either. I thought to myself... "glad I purchased the extended Elite warranty". Once I had reached my destination and turned car off the power door locks started working again.

I was extra irritated since I was going to get a replacement part for my '02 Maxima. I have a failing camshaft position sensor in that vehicle.

 

Its the worst when the car stops acting up when it gets to the dealer to avoid repairs... i guess kids are not the only ones who hate doctors and needles

I am pretty sure your electronics had a little hiccup. Sometimes electronics do that time to time but if it happens again you might want to get that checked out.

 

I have a vague recollection that the door locks won't work if a key is left in the car. Could that be what's happening? I've also had other makes of cars that wouldn't lock if the lights were left on or if the tranny wasn't in park, etc.





Edit: NM, I was thinking this happened when you parked, not when you were driving.
