I will get flamed for this but I think SS lines is all just hype and just another mod. I dont have them on my car but I have a sportbike and changed to SS Braided lines because of recommendations from my forum as being better performance. Quite frankly there's no difference in stopping distance. The only thing SS lines do, is prevent the minor expansion that regular lines do. The vehicle come with regular ones from factory because it works just fine. SS lines is just a mod. I have nothing against a mod but dont claim it increases brake performance. Just my .02
