Blue Collar Suspension Write up!!!
Hey Everyone! Well did a bunch of research on the suspension of these cars, going back on forth on which wheels to get, brakes, springs, sizes, widths....
Throughout it all I had in my mind I didnt wanna spend boat loads of money... I dont track the car so there was no reason fr a Big Brake Kit (BBK) or COilovers (CO) I wanted a little better handing and an overall nicer more aggressive appearance... sooo I came up with the Blue Collar working mans suspension setup... I hope it helps anyone wanting a similiar setup for not a lot of cash...
Included in this setup are the following parts.
WHEELS: Forgestar F10 TIRES: Falken 452
Front 20 x 8.5 offset 30 and 245/35/20
Rear 20 x 10.5 offset 42 and 285/30/20
SPRINGS/SHOCKS:
HR springs 1.3in drop front/ 1.2in drop rear
Tokico Blue shocks
SWAY BAR:
Hotchkis solid sways
BRAKES:
R1concepts rotors
Hawk HPS pads
Stoptech Stainless steel brake lines
Currently there will be only a few changes as I am really happy with the setup... New rotors with better coating so as they do not rust where the pad doesnt hit them. Also I have camber adjustment to make just waiting for the parts. I have had no rubbing issues!
All the work was done by me minus mounting and balancing tires. Please if you have any questions feel free to respond or message me and I will get back to you!. Enjoy!

Btw car looks good so far. Very simple, practical and not over done which I like. I pretty much have the exact same set up except for the Tokico HP blues which is the next thing on my list of what to buy. So what do you have planned next?

Yeah I gots them used from a member who only used them for a very short time as you can see from the condition...
Next I have a complete overhaul of the body planned... nothing flashy but IM deleting the splash gaurd, blacked out grill and headlights, blacked out truch chrome piece, and then my body guy is going to get rid of all the knicks, dents and scratches and maybe throw a better coat of clearcoat on it so it shines a bit more.
