new wax question

Hi not too long ago, there was a thread on here about some "new wax" that does not need to sit to haze, wipe on and off.

There was a complete thread about it with a commercial video. Ive looked through pages recent threads and searched and could not find it.

Anyone know what im talking about? can you send me link please with the info.

Do yourself a favor and get some of this:

Super easy to use, lasts a LONG time, and has incredible depth and gloss for a synthetic.

I think I know what you are talking about. I have seen a sticky come and go the past couple of weeks titled something similar to "wax your car in half the time" or something to that sort. I don't remember who, but it looks like its a vendor attempting to sell their product.

Ha, I feel ya. I was on here looking at wax/sealant recommendations and saw that post and wanted to go back and check it out. However, 30 minutes later when I went back to look at it, it was gone. I spent the next 30 minutes going through all of the different forums trying to find it thinking I was going crazy, ha.

I just saw it again yesterday, but don't remember the brand. It will probably pop up again in a day or 2.

When I saw it I went right out to get it, almost literally. I have to try the new products. Anyways my reviews on this wax are much better when used with the Liquid Polish prior. It does excatly what it says though. No hazing. However I don't think my wax time was cut in half but it was certainly shorter.

That was it. I knew it was a big brand of car care products.

I wouldn't put AA on my car if you gave it to me free.

+1 on that..

If you don't want to use a carnauba wax (which I think is well worth it). I would just go the route of a good spray on wax like Optimum.

Thats my $0.02.

yea, i would never use aa on my car either. Never really liked any of their products longetivity and durability always seems to be not very good. Do yourself a favor, spend 20 minutes more and use a nice durable wax.

i've been very happy with 4*UPP (& Danase Wet Glaze). slick, great shine, lasts for me at least four months, but i'm garage kept (home & work).
don't think carnauba does as much with a silver (liquid platinum) car as with a dark color car.

^
The current formulation of AIO is not as good as before. If anyone is set on a product like that, Jeff's is much better than the current Klasse offering. Removing SG is a B I T C H, especially if you accidentally apply too much of it.

Plus, why do AIO then SG when you can do one product like Wet Diamond?

I don't do the SG, just the AIO, and it lasts months.

It's also very versatile and good for plastics, rubbers, metals, headlights. I pretty much put it EVERYWHERE on the car.

It also has mild cleaning properties.

I'm sure Blackfire is a great product, I'm just putting some options out there. When my 32 ounces of Klasse AIO runs out, I'll definitely be trying Blackfire out to see what the difference is.

I had a bottle of the older formulation (used up already) and it does work very well but it won't layer like a pure sealant will. If your bottle is the older variety, I'd use it up too before switching.

I went from Klasse/Jeff's/Zaino/Jetseal/Wetdiamond, and to me the wet diamond is the easiest to use (little to no cure time), one of the most economical, and lasts a very long time.
