My mom got into a small little accident and the airbag went off, cars been fixed but the solid airbag light is still on in the dash. Is there a diy on how to erase the crash codes? If not is there anyplace in SOCAL where you can maybe have them erase crash codes? Where is the module located? thanks in advance...Car is an 07 g35 sedan

 

if the car was fixed they should have reset it, there may be something wrong with the connector or the new airbag if the light is on. i would bring it back to the repair shop, it's not worth taking a chance in this case. if you had done something like blow a fuse while doing stereo work i'd say reset it yourself but this is a different animal.

 

the car was fixed but the airbag hasnt been replaced...and since they salvaged it i need to do a chp inspection so im trying to figure out what to do. I was looking at the manual and it says the airbag control module is located in the steering wheel, but i have no clue if its there or not, i just need to turn the light off
