I have had my FI exhaust for about 2 year now and love it. NO drone, just the right tone and quality has always been the highest deciding factor for me. The mufflers are Sebring and they do use a Mangnaflow muffler for the resonator. The Sebrings are high quality and sounds great.

See thats my issue with the exhaust at this point. I feel like I could buy the mufflers and resonators and build my own exhaust for half the price.

I might as well buy a Greddy Exhaust from a G35 coupe and custom fit it for the sedan

I too thought the same, but what happens when you need to go do any sort of work on the car? the exhaust will most likely be welded up 100% and will have to be cut apart. i had to unbolt the back half of my exhaust to get the sways in. there was no way they were going in unless it was removed.

and FYI a Greddy exhaust from a coupe wont fit. the transversely mounted muffler doesnt fit back there on a sedan.

Spend the 800 bucks on the invidia Catback and call it a day if you dont want to buy the FI.

I rated my FI exhaust a 9. I've since sold my G and sold the exhaust, but I liked how my G with FI exhaust sounds much better than the BMW performance exhaust on my new 335is.

Better yet, the exhaust provided noticeable gains up top. The car would pull harder to redline and more easily spin the tires when I mashed the throttle while the car was moving.

Yes, it does use some off the shelf components, but the key is, the exhaust is dyno proven and extremely well made with mandrel bends, etc. It sounds great, doesn't drone and it performs. IMO, the tips and canister look better than Invidia, but that's subjective.

Actually, the hardest decision I've had to make lately was just a stupid shower head. lol

I went with FI for my xS sedan. It is honestly the best exhaust I've had on any of my past cars. I love it a LOT!

Couldn't agree with this anymore. Every performance gain you mentioned is exactly the gains I'm still noticing. Although this is very debatable, when I put on my k&n intake i lost low end torque and a noticeable amount too making the power delivery a little more biased towards the 4k-5k rpm range but not its compketely even with more down low and especially up top. Best investment for my G yet.
