G35 trade help!!!

Hi guys, so i have a 2008 G35 S 6MT and has 140,000 KM. yeah i know its alot. PRetty much loaded except gps and rearview cam... lol so i found a guy who wants to trade me his 06 coupe with 50,000 km on it plus he wants 4 grand on top. He got a custom paint job, which im not 2 found of but a sweet intake. heres a link of his car

He's nuts if he wants your car and $4000 on top. I do like the paint job but think you should keep looking at other options.

Well his car value is worth more so I understand why ...what if i brought it down to 2,000? i drive alot 2 school and work so km will continue to build on top of the 140

Paint job is Hideous. the rims are even worse. as long as you maintain your car it will run great for a long time to come.

i would keep the 2008 sedan. 140 000km for a VQ engine is almost new!

if you like the coupe better and think its a trade you want to do, then 2k on top of your car is a good deal!

ye i do like the coupe but main thing is the km. I think i may just offer the 2 K and if he takes it trade done otherwise il stick with my G

I would pass. It seems you would be paying extra for the paint job that you are not a big fan of. Also, while unlikely, the late model G35 coupes, I think 05+, might have a chance to catch the oil consumption bug.

Is the owner from England? If so, then I understand why he painted the G that unattractive color.
