G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

If you would have read the quote of the individual I was responding to, you would of noticed that I was refering to his comment about me driving an inferior sedan(maxima). My post doesn't contradict itself read carefully my friend.
Mad...lol again if you read my post you would of noticed I said I bought a coupe for looks not performance. If I wanted a fast car I would of bought a BMW, which is faster than both our cars. My coupe is for looks my GSX-R is for speed, try to catch up to me on my bike....

Guys I have decided to keep my G. After test driving the Maxima. Although the car is gorgeous it lacked the power and I could not live with the front wheel drive like a few of you have posted.
Thanks for all your input

well said, it sounds like he made the right decision by keeping the G though, his senses came through. However, the Maxima aesthetically speaking is a sharp looking car, I was actually looking at them before I bought my G a couple of months ago. Guess I came tomy senses too
Sorry for arriving late to the party but here's my 2cents...actually it's my neighbours 2 cents.
My neighbour of 6 years (turned good friend) purchased the 2010 Maxima (traded in his 05 3.5SE) and this is what his tells me.
He loves the new design and the interior similarities it has to my G, but that's where his new Maxima love ends. He can't stand the CVT and says there is less rear seat room (width) than the 05 had. He feels the new Max handles a bit better than the 05 but not as good as my G. He has driven my G a few times to know the difference. Keep in mind that mine is an X not a Sport so if the new Maxima doesn't handle as well as the G35X, then that says quite a bit as well.
I'm glad you decided to stick with the G. The Maxima is a nice car but they really are two very different cars.

^^^very true...when I first saw the new Maxi my jaw almost dropped and I had to know what car that was because I didnt see the Nissan emblem on it and it looked incredibly sharp...I believe my words were "it looks like a shark on land" lmao.
Anyways, its all up to you OP and Im glad you came to your senses because even though the Maxi is a very aesthetically pleasing vehicle, you have to realize that there was a reason for Nissan to come up with its own LUXURY brand. Infiniti's are still nissan at heart (literally lol with the VQ35+36) but its an overall better car.
Now make up for the mistake you almost made by treating your car to some nice mods...im sure he/she is feeling pretty neglected lmao

you guys are on crack, not that the V36 is the best looking car, but that maxima is fugly
good decision, you wouldn't have saved nearly enough on gas to make swtiching cars worth while
And if you really care about the cost of gas you should be shopping for a 4 cylinder car under $20K.
If you can pay over $30K for ANY car you can afford to buy gas.
If you can pay over $30K for ANY car you can afford to buy gas.
Can you elaborate as to why?
Is it cheaper for you?
Do you like the Maxima that much?
It's kind of like trading in your 08 Lexus IS350 in for a 11 Toyota Camry.
I am just curious.. unless you posted this thread just to rile everyone up.
