Clicking when Accelerating

Clicking when Accelerating

I only hear this sound above 5k rpm, i think its coming from where the fuse box area or right under the steering column. Basically it sounds like a relay is clicking on and off extremely fast. has anyone experienced this issue? I made an apt to drop my car off, just hope i have it back before the holiday.

Same thing here. Hard acceleration produces a clicking in sync with tach increase. Sounds like it's coming from the left lower side of column by knees. Inconsistent so I've not set up anyone at I to look at it. Curious to find out what it is.

there is tsb that states a clicking sound with rpm from dash sounds like a screwdriver tapping a bench. Check out infinitihelp.com for full details or search on here.

Same problem, dealership found the cause

I have this same problem, exact same symptoms, I brought it to my local dealer and they said that it was silicon in the coolant system oddly enough, they say it is a common problem. They flushed my coolant system and it fixed the problem for a few days then the clicking came back. Right now I'm just waiting till I have the time to go back to the dealer and have them look at it again.

the tsb states its the heater core thats the problem.
