I've had a ton of cars in my life and the one car that had the best resale of any was a 2000 Civic Si.

Bought it new for $16,500, drove it for 2 years, and sold it for $16,500.

Not fast but a good looking fun little car.

oh yea thats fast.

I wouldn't rule them out. They can be very quick with minor mods. We aren't very fast either by todays standards.

^ lol. Thats rite. We drive lux cars, people, not racers. Sure they are pretty quick, but not racers. For reference it was just a few yrs ago that Mustangs GT were doing 0-60 in 5.5/5.6, heck back in 95, 96 Camaro SS, Firebirds were doing 0-60 in 5.2. Now a G35 is doing 5.3 (magazine reference for all quotes) so we're doing good for lux cars. Only thing, so are most other lux cars. Everything just keeps getting faster and faster.

BTW the cars in my original post were not stock. Slammed and stickers advertising the different AM parts they had. None of which I knew.

Have an 01 Acura CL-S does that count?

Picked it up so daughter has something to drive and not pester me for the G. (This is the part that is on topic)

It is a nice car, though. 153 k mi. and doesnt use ANY oil. Used it as my winter bomb.

why was this thread started in the first place lol?! I see morons racing in their civics, scions, and cobalts every other day with those stupid 5'' grapefruit shooters sticking out of the back of their cheesy rear bumper body kits. I speed by them with ease laughing

I owned one... my bro is driving my 95 accord. No throttle body cleaning required, no soft paint issues, its a solid car.

As a guy that loves cars, I like fast ones too. I am also mature enough to acknowledge when I see one that's fast, even if it's not as luxurious or expensive as mine. That's why I started it.

ahh but he was so quick to judge. The sierra comes (some of them like Denali) with a 6.0 (6.2 for the new ones) that lays down impressive times for a big truck. Further more the vehicle I traded to get my 07G is a 06 Yukon denali. Not a top speed king by any means, but a quick sprinter stock.

Never have, never will lol. In fact the only asian cars my family has ever owned have been 4 Infinitis and a Nissan Altima. Rest have been Chevrolets, Fords, and a Saab.
