I think the small yellow bulb in the corner is daytime? well I was painting my headlights today and kinda tug the harness wire a little hard on the passenger side so now I have everything back and hooked up, that passenger bulb is always on now expect when I have the lights on off. I don't ever remember that light on ever being on since I had the car. Is this normal or something is wrong? and how to fix it?

he has an 07 g35x, if i remember right then he's from canada in which case you would have DRL(daytime) lights (fog for the US) running on both sides, if in US then they should not be on.

But the fog bulb would not be yellow unless he changed it, so he must be referring to the other bulb
Its a 07 G35x and its a Canadian car, sorry its not yellow but orange. I am referring the 168 size bulb in the top tip of the headlight where it has a cone shape cover. I have never seen it on before ever since I had this car so I don't know why its on now and only on the passenger side where I tugged hard.

oh ok, that should only be on when your H/L switch is turned half or full way on or in dark with auto, basically they should only be lit when your rear leds are on without brake they should not be on otherwise, hope this makes sense.

But it was never on ever until now I am sure. The driver side is not on also so what happened to make it turn on now?Originally Posted by kool_yaar
