Picked Up the New G Friday

Hello everyone. I just purchased, and picked up, a new-to-me 2007 Infiniti G35x. It was a lease car with one owner. It has approx. 39,800 miles and it is pretty clean. I drove it back to Derby, KS from Kansas City, KS on Friday, and I pushed it up to 130mph briefly and it felt like I was doing 80mph. Very smooth driving car with good power for being stock.

Ultimately, I plan on supercharging it without having to tear into the engine. 370-380rwhp is more than enough for a daily driver.

In the mean time, I am getting ready to place an order at Superbrightled.com for some LED's. This is a simple mod and my first. Here is what I am ordering:

Dome Light- Qty 2 : 3022-x9: 9 LED Festoon Bulb (Cool White)
License Plate- Qty 2 : WLED-x6: 6 LED Wedge Base Bulb (Cool White)
Map Light- Qty 2 : 3022-x9: 9 LED Festoon Bulb (Cool White)
Step/Courtesy Light- Qty 2 : 3022-x9: 9 LED Festoon Bulb (Cool White)
Trunk/Cargo Area- Qty 1 : WLED-x6: 6 LED Wedge Base Bulb (Cool white)

I went with Cool White color to keep everything consistent.

Should I also consider upgrading the LED's for: Fog/Driving Light, Parking Light, or Rear Turn Signals? I didn't notice very many people talking about these upgrades in the DIY posts.

I will probably black out the grill as well.

My next mods will probably be exhaust and intake, as well as 18" Enkei or Konig wheels & tires.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and I welcome any comments or suggestions, good or bad.

Thanks,
Chris

Pics didn't show... Congrats and welcome!!! I would do 19" wheels at least! Stillen gen 3 yields the most power for intake, but if you dont want to spend money research K&N and R2C seems to be a hot short ram right now. For exhaust I HIGHLY recommend FI as most on the forum will ;-)

Again, welcome and happy modding!!!

Very nice! 130 is what the AWDs are limited at, so you wont get past that any time soon haha

welcome, car looks clean, I'd go with 19's or 20's and I would avoid any ugly cheesy chrome wheels

AWD's are limited to 130? I had no idea. I've had my RWD up to 160. THAT was intense!

I didnt realize the AWD's were limited either? Although I didn't keep it there for long, it felt as if it would go faster and I didn't rec. Any kind of warning from the computer.

Sure 154 lol all I know is on a residential freeway I was passing everything like it was standing still. I tried to take a picture but had to slow down to 142 to snap it!

and be careful out there guys, one TINY mistake at those speeds and it can be a disaster!!
