I just got xm radio. I was in my car playing with it and found an annoying aspect of it. When in the xm display, all I see is the channel I am on, the information about the channel, and my presets (which are all still FM presets)

My question is, is there a way to change what is displayed where the presets are? I'd like to see a list of channels above and below my current channel. Also is there a way to search for types of channels, like sports or rock, etc?

 

keep pressing status until you see the xm info and then you can scroll through all XM channel but it will only show the current channel with all song info etc but i dont think it has the capability to show the close by channels...

From what i remember from my XM days, you cannot search for genre's within the system but XM is "pre-sorted" in the sense that they send a little card that shows what block of channels are for sports etc

 

Yeah, I found the info about the status button shortly after posting. I feel like in the m you are able to search by channel type, but I could be wrong.
