Plastidip?

if I put plastidip on the outside of my car, will it come off if I drive through automated car wash?
Also would I be able to spray it on my taillights like gtr style?

No.
Personal opinions aside, yes, with proper cut-outs. But it's not translucent so don't expect to spray over the entire lens and still have light shine through.

It won't come off if you drive it through a automated car wash if you put enough coats. But why are you running your car through those car washes anyways? those things are terrible.. handwash it bro. And I wouldn't suggest spraying it over the tails.. matte black on ur tails? that would look kinda funny..

lol I never use them I was just wondering how durable the plastidip is. And I've never seen plastidip in person so don't know what it looks like in person lol but thanks for the tip, it would definitely look weird if its matte

Very durable, plastidiped my g35 (s) rims, 18 inch and it held up like a champ. Been 3-4 months, not a single mark!

... kinda

Although, masking tape won't stick on oily or dirty areas, so clean things up prior.

Has anyone plastidipped that chrome strip on the trunk? If so, are there any pics. I was thinking about trying this but wanted to see if the results are positive...
