Possible to have mirrors automatically tilt down when in reverse?

Possible to have mirrors automatically tilt down when in reverse? This would be to help make sure I don't curb a rim when parallel parking, etc.

If not, are there sleek "stick-on" mirrors I can buy and put on my current ones that angle straight down? I don't like those circular cheap looking ones, but if there was one you can barely notice, I'd get it. Would be nice.

Check out KP technoligies... IIRC, they have a kit that can do this for you.

If you have the premium package you can set your 2nd memory w/ the lowered mirrors and use it when backing out (if you don't have another driver using that memory setting).

Yah, wouldn't mind having this in my G.. I remember when i drove my sisters 330i and i put it in reverse and noticed the passenger side mirror moving. Very nice feature, which is really helpful if you park outside most of the time.

Hmm...while $100 isn't THAT steep, I feel like if there are some sleek "curb reflecting" mirrors I can put on, I would prefer that. Not even as much because I don't want to drop $100, but more because I'd rather not wait for the mirrors to tilt when I need them to...plus, I often would like them to not tilt while I'm in reverse.
