Unhappy Driver side window motor dying out?

I have a 2nd gen 2008 G35x. I was driving today and when lowering my window for the driver side door I noticed the window made a squeak and had a lack of power going up. After trying a couple of times to see if its just a fluke the window motor gave out completely. I turned the car on and off and each time the window went up a little with the press of the button until it finally closed to the top.

The issue doesn't seem to be consistant because I was driving home later in the day and the window opened and closed normally and then back to the malfunction. It's very sporadic. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with a 2nd gen sedan and does it mean that I'd have to get the window mechanism replaced?

3 years of driving this car with almost no issues and the problems start now lol.

Yes I did a couple months ago on mine that I bought last Nov. Since it was a CPO with warranty I took it in and had them look at it. Wasn't the motor, just the tracks needing lubrication. Mine was front passenger side and it did exactly like yours except the dying part.

Mine went up and down slow one day, fine the next, along with a squeak. I also definitely thought it was the motor.
