Im going to attempt to paint my grill tomorrow (plastidip + clearcoat) leaving the top and bottom chrome. I'm thinking about using trimbrite chrome vinyl tape to cover up the rock chips in the paint. Concerned that may not look "real" but too cheesy looking

If you use plasti dip is there still a way to obtain a glossy finish? I want the gloss look but also want to use something easy like plasti dip so I can take it off I want go back to original color.
