A light interior makes BIG difference on window tint transparency.

This is probably obvious to anyone out there who has ever tinted their car, but this was my first time. So to any newbs out there like myself thinking about tinting: if you have a light colored interior, your tint will look lighter.
I have that whitish-grey interior (if anyone knows the official name, please tell me). I got 35% tint because that is the legal limit in my state. But since I had a light interior, I'm sure I could have gotten away with darker and still had it LOOK like 35%. Just a word to the wise.
Although most shops seem to only tint in 15% increments. So, maybe you're limited anyway. Don't know.
