Cruddy experience with Orlando Infiniti. Just bought a C.P.O. 08 G35s sedan.

I doubt if you were in the OPs shoes you'd feel the same way. Although it does sound like you had questionable dealings w/the same dealership YIKES!
I think we are just all agreeing on the fact that we would never purchase something of this price range without really inspecting the vehicle prior to signing any papers. My car wasn't CPO but I still had them remove all minor scratches, replaced all interior plastic wear, changed the tires, and few other extras......

And for OP I would definitely write a letter to the corp regarding this case, it actually might be too late since you agreed on certain deals but atleast you would find out if the dealership is worth trusting or not.

I had mire functional issues on a CPO Audi I bought.... Sued the dealer and VW of American and won.

Most CPOs have a checklist to pass... If you have that check list and pictures to counter, I would take them to small claims.

Thanks Blnewt.

I'm an extremely reasonable person, some would say too forgiving, but in this case, i feel slighted and taken advantage of. But, i allowed myself to be, by trusting that they had good products instead of playing devil's advocate. I'm going to write a letter to both the owner/manager of that dealership and also to Corporate only stating the facts. I could care less at this point if anything else is done, i just want them to know they will never get my business again (but oh boy will they get every warranty issue i can think of).

But i do want to applaud my sales rep's, David Menne and Scott Orbany, both extremely professional/caring, and were rooting for me the whole time. They just couldn't usurp their leadership. Gotta love the system.

Why'd you want to trade in your 07 for an 08? Just curious

I agree on looking more closely however if someone says they are going to do it and they do it deliver than you will hear it from me, unless there is a good reason. I understand your anger and its awful how you got jerked around.

I purchased from there, didn't have the same paralleled experience as you but I told them to take the CPO of the car which I think made it cheaper. I could be mistaken.

Paid off, sunroof went (Infiniti wanted 2k to fix) needed it's 75k checkup, then to top it off the A/C compressor broke on my way to a conference in Orlando, so i was a bit ticked and stopped in to see what they had in stock. I didn't want to buy new, and once i saw the blue slate sport i was hooked.

dam bro that sucks...i just bought a CPO last saturday and i saw a small indentation when i got home on the driver's side rear qt panel. i called the sales manager and he was willing to hook up the paint job at his cost but didnt do it because i wont have the factory paint. its a used car its gonna have some defects but def not as bad as what you mentioned.

good luck if you pursue this, but enjoy your car regardless.
