sport 18 inch rim value?

I saw the thread discussing the stock 17's and their value, I personally got $600 for my banged up set. I currently have a set of sport staggered 18's, the split 7 spoke. The rims are flawless, no rash at all. The tires are in good shape, about 6/32nds tread left. I'm about to pull the trigger on some BBS wheels and tires, so I won't be needing these any longer. What is the market like for the 18's in MINT condition??? I was thinking of asking $1000, plus actual shipping if the buyer isn't local. Thoughts?

I got 600 for mine, mint condition (zero rash), bald rears about 1/2 fronts, no tpms.

I honestly think you'll have a hard time getting 1k, but you never know.

Why don't you just search the classified section to see what they are going for? It is almost like you are trying to make a sale in the wrong forum.

600, really? I got that for my 17's with rash on all 4 wheels. I might just get lucky on ebay again since everything on there is like 300 per rim. I don't think I'd let them go for less than 800 though. You were generous in my opinion.

I'm not selling them right now though, so no sale can occur. I'm just seeing what others have sold their set for, feeling the market.

no offense to nay of the guys with these wheels but i really wouldnt see them as an upgrade from the 03-07 coupe 18in Sport wheels and certainly not from the 19" rays.

They just dont look as nice IMO and people will not be willing to fork out 800-900 for rims they dont think will make their car look any better.

I've always felt like i am getting ripped when selling OEM wheels, so id rather keep the set so i cant go back to stock and sell my aftermarket wheels. you also got a set of FULL SIZE spares if ever needed.

If your tires are brand new or less than a few hundred miles, that warrants for a higher selling price and makes your request for 800-900 very reasonable butit still doesn't mean it will sell cuz its only worth what others are willing to pay for it.

I'm curious, was everyone's rims sold locally on forums and craigslist, or did you sell out of state on ebay?

Like I mentioned above, my stock 17's with rash sold for $600 plus $200 for shipping on Ebay. I believe the buyer wanted a winter set and none were available locally. In my experience Ebay opens up doors, and increases the value if you are willing to ship.

No offense taken these are really nice for a 2nd set, maybe summer wheels, for someone running stock 17's, they look much better than the 17's in my opinion. 03-07 coupe and rays 19 don't work for the newer sedans because of the lower offset. These fit nice on the newer sedans.

I've seen these sport 18's sell for 400 in mint condition (more than 1 seller). With tires, I've seen them sell as low as 500-800 depending on condition of tires.

IMO $600-800 sounds about right but like you said, you might have a better chance of getting more for them on ebay (-fees).

yeah, the 1,000 I was thinking was for ebay. Forum or Craigslist would definitely be closer to 800 obo.
