How to tell if you have the Speed Steering and Hicas?

Hey I was curious if there is a way to tell if your car has the Active Steering with the rear Hicas system. I think my car has it but I don't know for sure. Any help would be great.

I see you are driving an 08 manual. I believe with that car, if you have the Intelligent Cruise Control and Adaptive Headlights (turn while you steer), you also have the Active Steering. (all part of the Technology package in 08)

Does your car have a spoiler? For my 08.. the spoiler was necessary to get the active steering.

If you have the shiny silver thing just behind the brace (sandwiched between brace the the differential) shown in this photo, then you have 4WAS.

I have 2007 g35s with all options including spoiler. I wonder what that means...

I have an 08 with that package and don't believe I have active steering. I recall test driving some other cars and being really annoyed with it.....the steering in this car feels pretty normal.

Not sure if you drove the G with 4was or some other manufacturer when you say 'some other cars' but the G's active steer does make a positive difference to the handling capability and the car really seems to be on rails through curves and abrupt maneuvers

^ I'm trying to find that other track video from Nissan that compared a G with and without 4WAS, the difference is too obvious not to notice.

In the meantime, check this shorter clip -- seems to be the same vehicle from that video i mention above. Will post when found.

Sorry, I was referring to something else. I was thinking of the power steering that is speed sensitive. I'm 99% sure I don't have that.
