Hello fellas
, I've been lurking around for a couple of months here after purchasing a 2007 G35S AT in Platinum Graphite with 47K. Been a long time Nissan/Datsun owner over the years with 4 Maxima's(81,85,89,97) and a 72 Datsun 510 when I was a kid. The Maxima's were great cars and the last two I had drove to 212K(traded in) and 230K(totaled by girl on her cell phone)with almost no problems over the years. This forum seems to be one of the better ones out there so I thought I should come out of the shadows. Look forward to many years with this car

Sharp looking ride, Welcome. This IS for sure one of the best forums on the NET. I have no doubt how much you will enjoy your new car. Stay away from modding it's a growing epidemic around here.

Thanks for the warm welcoming. Yes, I got very lucky and found a lower mileage car and the best part I bought it private party from the original owner who garaged it and was diligent with maintenance and care. I was really hoping to find a Lakeshore blue car but once I saw this one I pulled the trigger. No big mod plans other than a brake upgrade and maybe some H&R's with Bilsteins or Koni's. But that will be down the road at some point. First things first.. Did the tint, got a dash cover and sadly the original owner did not clear bra it so a repaint and holes fill for license plate for the front bumper is next in order. Then of course clear bra. And last in order is a track day so I can kill off these not so hot Hankooks and get some Pilots on her asap. As far as tint I went with the Formula 1 Comfort series 15 for the sides and 30 for the rear. Looks darker in the pics plus black interior.
