Stall when barely accelerating

I just bought a 2008 G35 Journey, which I love already except for one problem. The car will occasionally stall at low speeds when I am barely pressing the accelerator (usually going through a parking lot). I tried researching before posting and it sounds like the throtlle body or MAF sensor may be the issue. Has anyone else seen this or have any suggestions about what the issue may be?

Thanks in advance,
snmb952

I had the same problem it was a real light stall.went 2 the dealerships ant got it tested because i thought it was my transmission and every thing was 100%.The dealer guy told me that it could be the brake test the car runs a test when you start it and lets you know if you need brakes at low speed.I also bought a grounding kit from stillen because it makes your transmission shift a little smoother and i dont feel the stall anymore

Does it only happen when cold, If it does, look for TSB # ITB11-018.

Thanks, but I think my issue is different. When I said stall, my car completely dies. It doesn't shutter or anything...just shuts off. It will crank right back up with no issues though.

Thanks for your help! How can I look up TSB # ITB11-018? I tried Google with no luck. Is there a manual I can purchase that contains the tech bulletins?

I'd also take a look at your throttle bodies and see if they need cleaning

Welcome to the forums!!
I had the same exact problem but with my Nissan Altima 2.5s, it would stall completely at low speeds. I just changed the Crank Position Sensor! It did the trick! Might not be related to the G's but you never know!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it only shows ITB11-003 and ITB11-014 for my vehicle.

Thanks for all of the help, guys!

Wish I had known that... my crappy max died and 2 mechanics couldn't fix it... ended up getting the G as a result

i have this problem too on my 2007 g35s sedan. My nephew said he replaced the 3 sensors and it stalls less now. However it does stall mid-turn during a U-turn at the light and pulling up driveways sometimes. This sounds like a manufacturer problem, any chance of getting them to fix this?

Man, oh, man.

Clean throttle bodies, change crankshaft position sansor and camshaft position sensors bank 1 and 2.

Problem solved, guaranteed.
