CD changer

How many of us have the CD changers in our trunks? Do you guys use them or for those who don't have them want them?

Just thinking what to do w/ mine. I have 3 cd's in there and use it once in awhile.

yeah! Mine is in the trunk and i really don't use it and was thinking about taking it out. Maybe for those who don't have it, maybe sell it for very cheap and do a far trade off on the side walls of the trunk. But who really uses CD's anymore? Now everyone is using Ipods and others for music.

I used to use the changer when I first got the car, but it's too much of a hassle to use it since it's located in the trunk. Now, I just use the main CD deck in the center stack and never use the changer. They should have placed it in the glove compartment IMO.

or some where different. FOr the trunk it's a hassle to get things in your trunk b/c now you have to work around that CD box that seems to always be in the way.

I guess it's a tight squeeze to fit it anywhere else though since it's a mid sized sedan and not a SUV. I've seen many SUV's that have CD changers in their glove compartment or the console. Not enough room with the G's I guess.

Wat were you trying to do with the extra space in the trunk?

I just shipped it out today. Doing upper and lower section with perforated leather + alcantra on both sides + red diamond stitching + extra padding.

I also took out the steering wheel bezel to get it paint matched. I will probably end up taking it with my Blacktop Aero roof spoiler to have everything painted together.

sounds pretty good. Hope to see it when it's done. I wonder how long it's going to take me to get that CD changer out of the trunk?
