what year and package do you have? Because mine is a Canadian 07 X WITHOUT: Navi, rear camera, active cruise, active headlight, sports seats, 18", paddle shift.

i have Bose, Heated seats, sunroof, dual climate.

it goes in the trunk once you get nav because they have to fit extra stuff up front.

Yeah, I have never once used the CD changer in my trunk. Talk about a waste of time by Infiniti. Between satellite radio, radio, flash drive, hard drive, mp3 player, I never have any need for a CD changer. The few CD's I do have I ripped onto the hard drive. I tend to forget it's back there except when I'm loading/unloading the trunk and it's in the way.

Yea i haven't used CDs since the original iPod cane out now I just use my iphone

I am keeping mine where it is. I would have to take out the trunk liner that surrounds it to get any benefit, and that sounds like more work than it's worth.

I wouldnt mind pulling it out however I barely use my trunk so I've never been too motivated, plus a trunk liner probably isn't cheap through infiniti. Perhaps it wouldn't look too terrible if the liner box was cut off flush, you could even glue a piece of matched fabric over the hole.
