I've tried a regular iphone, iphone 3g-3gs, iphone 4 now and the car will never alert with ringtone instead on the last ring on the iphone the alert comes up on the screen but yet no ringtone.
Anyone?

 

Interesting. I don't have an Iphone so I can't help you there but I plan on getting one soon and am interested in the responses to this.

 

It's that not big of an issue but there was one scenario when at the last ring I heard the cars ringtone not even a second.

 

mine car has been doing same recently what gives?

 

Some advantages to owning a bimmer are these small things. Lol jk

lol...i guess you can enjoy your "small things" while waiting at the repair shop with your bimmer for the big things...

p.s. i have the same "small thing" issue with my iphone...but it does ring with the iphone's ringer. Tried it with a 3g, and two other iphone 4's, no go with the car's ringtones...

 

my bluetooth doesnt kick in until like the 2nd phone ring, but my bluetooth rings with the car ringtone and it is good. i dont know, did u look into settings? maybe unpair and repair it?

 

I was just kidding lol... Yeah the iPhone ring works ... I'v tried Unpairinf but not completely functionable... With other phones the cartone did work.
