What should be included with my 08 G35?

I'm doing a fly and buy tomorrow to pick up a new to me 08 G sedan 6MT.

A friend of mine warned me that he has gotten screwed twice....once on a cargo cover for an MB (was $900!) and once on a key.

I'm assuming I'll want to confirm that there are two keys, owner's manual, floor mats, and a spare tire.

What else could be missing? What other little containers, etc should I be looking for?

Jeez, let's see, it's been long enough that I forgot whether or not our cars had one of those "credit card" keys (I know I've gotten them on a number of other cars)...Make sure you get the key for any wheel (lug) locks your car may have . . .and don't forget any maintenance records and receipts... and the front license plate mounting frame (in case there's not one installed)...oh, yeah, if you don't have the front plate mounted, be sure to get the actual plate too... also any console bits (tray, cupholder, divider pieces, cig lighter, etc.) that may have been removed. That's all I can think of for now. Good luck!

Congrats and I know we went through tons of cars looking for a Solid 08 G35 at a fair price and low miles. I hope you post up tons of pictures of your new ride and enjoy your drive back home. I would make sure all your spare tire bits are there like jack, tow hook, spare is inflated as well. Run it to Autozone and have them do a load test on your battery to make sure it check out before you hit the road. Have fun and remember to WOT once in a while and as soon as you get it home give it a nice tuneup. Oil change, Air filter, 30k fluid change and all that good stuff.

Thanks man!

This adventure hasn't started off great....they send me an EMAIL at 4:00 yesterday telling me they can't take an out of state check....although I confirmed they could on Monday.

Flight leaves in 90 minutes so I've got no choice but to hit the road. My bank doesn't have locations in this area so I'll call when I get there and hope they'll do a wire transfer.

Appreciate all of your help looking for this thing. Are you off the highway on my ride back to Little Rock?

I'm not sure about the 08, but the 07 has a small plastic tray that sits on top of the hole in the console. While not that important, a few of the cars I looked at were missing them.

I had a PPI done at Infiniti Austin - actually got lucky. They had sold and serviced the car...said it was solid. They sent me all the service records and said that the battery failed the load test. They did mention that their load test is very stringent...so the battery is probably fine....but it was covered under the prorated warranty. However at $71, I could probably just pick one up at the auto parts store.
