Experiences with K&N drop-ins?

Anyone tried these yet? I can get them fairly cheap ($60ea) so I was going to get a pair, but only if they made some difference other than noise.

TIA!

I highly doubt it, at least not any difference that you could really feel. You'd probably have more variations in your engine's performance due to variations in climate on a day to day basis than due to a K&N drop in. In any case, I'd want to see valid, independently verified, back-to-back dyno results (not hyped sales claims) before I'd waste $120 on a set. For $60 ea., I'd just buy extra OEM's and replace them more often.

Not bad for a stock replacement.... not necessarily a performance improvement. The money savings over time may offset initial cost.

Thanks guys for the advice I think at this point I'd rather have a nice dinner for the money instead.

I'm sure there are more worthwhile mods out there, but I don't really want to mod my sedan too much.

Search z tube and pop charger, relatively cheap and easy mods. I was curious like you with the K&N's but like others have said its easy to get the oem filters and change often.
