Do you get compliments on your car?

Likewise. In the North NJ / NYC area, these cars are a dime a dozen. The only compliments I've ever gotten was solely color related (Lakeshore).
i do believe i'd have to beat the guy who i catch doing that to my car.
I still get compliments from time to time... Even made a thread about it a few years back.

my favorite was this one...
So, i spent the weekend cleaning the g. I finished up with a few coats of wax this morning and later in the day, i needed to swing by the grocery store. On the way home, i decided to stop for gas. I drove through an intersection and up on my right, i noticed a cop's car in a parking lot. As i approach and pass by, he started pulling out behind me. I immediately start wondering if i went through too fast.
I pull in and up next to a pump and as i get out, i notice the cop pulling in slowly. I swipe my credit card and there he is, backing into a parking spot behind me... Just sitting there staring at me.
A minute goes by and he slowly pulls up next to me and rolls the window down. I made sure not to make eye contact until i heard "so, is that an 09?"
i look up and i said " no, an 07" he was very surprised and said that the car looked brand spanking new. He's like "damn, that's a good looking car".
We ended up talking for about ten minutes. We were comparing the g to the lexus is250 that he also likes and it was a very funny conversation because i had to try hard to not talk performance. I can't just come out with "dude, this car would smoke an is250! He's heading to the dealership to test drive the convertible coupe.
I thought i was busted, but it turned out to just be a cop with an appreciation for nice cars.

I like it better when I catch people staring while they're driving. I feel like I'm driving something way more expensive than I am. Just the way I keep my car, that's all. I'm all stock down to the wheels. Tint, debadged, and pinstripe.
I live on an Army base and the gate guards always ask me if my car is ever dirty, I always say yes, but not for long hahaha.

I get compliments all the time, random people in like riced out cars give me the headnod haha but I don't really count that lol my favorite compliments were when I parked next to a milf in a maserati & she looked back and was like nice car 
and i was like you too haha then the other favorite was when I was downtown & some guys screaming at me so I put my window down & he was like "DUDE UR CARS GANGSTER, I LOVE G35'S! HELLA GANGSTER DUDE! STAY FLY LITTLE HOMIE I'M GOIN BACK TO THE BAR" ahahah I had a girl in the car and she was like...does that happen often? & I was like haha yeah :P sure enough I picked her up from school and got like 8 compliments in the parking lot...she gave me head after that lmao <3 the G

I do every so often nothing very frequently thought. I will get the occasional head bobs and thumbs up.
The most recent was about a week ago when I jumped into CVS for a quick errand. As I am sure most of you do I park in the furthest spot I can find. Walking towards the store there is a guy by the door smoking who couldn't seem to take his eyes on my G. Once I get right by the entrance he just tells me "Dude, you have a sick car very nice!". I just couldn't resist having a big smerc on my face all the way to work.
