Quote: 2012 IS 350 F Sport Edition! I had a 2006 IS 350, and loved everything about about that car (except the cramped backseat)! But, I bought a home and had a baby, so I had to buy something less expensive, with a bigger backseat, and traded it in for a 2007 g35 sedan.
Depending how they're optioned, an '07 G35 and an '06 IS 350 are pretty close in price, close enough at least to offset taxes, etc. Also, the backseat in a G is bigger than an IS backseat, but not significantly so. Our backseats are still pretty cramped with four adults.

Honda S2000

I've owned 3 G35's and the last time I bought one I regret not switching it up with the S2000.

This were my options before getting the G Sedan, I always wanted a RWD.

335i Sedan
CTS

I actually never considered the IS350 or the TL because it's made by HONDA. I hate HONDAS!!

Lol in your same boat, figured buying a house was a better long term investment than a more expensive ride. Needed some extra room in the back seat and Lexus had some cramped back seats but damn those IS 350's are sweet. And since I purchased my G in Feb with a little one on the way I knew the coupes were out

On the positive side, you knew about the little one before you bought the coupe...unlike this poor guy...

I traded my 06 IS in 09 for an 07 G...and lowered my car payment by $250/month. The backseat in the G is big enough so that when my son is in his car seat, his feet dont hit and scuff the front passengers seat.

Well sure, an '07 G would be worth less in 2009 than an '06 IS350 was worth new. If I traded in my '08 for another '08 G right now my payments would drop considerably as well if I took out another 4 year loan.
