Why bring the car back to stock before re-selling it? Why not sell the upgrades?
I agree with all of you, I was looking at a slightly modded 6MT 350z and my 5AT g35 and my dad didn't want me to get the z because in he thought it would fall apart faster due to it being a modded manual, which usually meant that somebody was driving it harder than the average person. I ended up the the G and I love it, kinda wish it was 6mt though
The main thing is, that a modded car appeals to a smaller crowd especially when it comes to trading a car in. The dealerships know this and its much easier selling a stock g35. I've been asked a few times when trading-in a car to lift it up or put stock wheels/tires back on before they take it as a trade-in.
